Steve’s our Mate!
Meet Steve Moore, residing in a piece of Paradise 220 km north of Brisbane, Vietnam Veteran and 70 years young, Steve has ridden motorcycles most of my life, which proves he is more than comfortable on two wheels!
We had the pleasure of taking Steve on his first tour in 2015, accompanied by a young fellow Severin, the son of Steve’s long-time friends from Switzerland.
According to Steve- “Neither of us stopped smiling all day!” Then another phone call this year, from Steve’s wife lisa, requesting to book two tours for one person on the same day.
“When my 70th birthday loomed, my wife asked me what I wanted to do and with no hesitation I said I wanted to go back to Kangaroo Segway Tours.”
We felt very honoured, not only did we have a guest who wanted to return, but wanted to have two 2 hour tours in one day for his 70th.
After his Third tour, here is what Steve had to say:
“I was thrilled with the tours as we covered huge distances. As a Vietnam Veteran, I have sustained injuries that make it difficult to walk very far so the Segway was an ideal way for me to see so much more of Brisbane than I would have otherwise been able. It is also enormous FUN! Doing the night tour as well gave me even better views of the city, parklands and points of interest. My guides Bec and Chris were extremely kind, They went to great lengths to ensure that I had an unforgettable day and evening. Bec had a little lemon meringue pie with a candle in it and when I went back for the evening tour Chris presented me with a custom Kangaroo Segway Tours T-shirt which I wore for the night! I will be a “frequent flyer” at Kangaroo Segway Tours and I urge visitors to Brisbane to give it a go. I warn you though, this fun is seriously addictive! Cheers Steve.”
We love all of our guests, and had to shout out to Steve, who we look so much forward to seeing again, not only are you a special guest, but also now a lifelong friend of the Kangaroo Segway Tour family.
